From the Soedermann Collection."</blockquote> This type was struck 1832-58 in large numbers and this is a common date. In 1859, the silver was reduced to 0.750 fine and reduced again to 0.500 fine in 1867.

Sincona sale 84, lot 379

This specimen was lot 379 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 10 Kopecks 1847, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB PA. Very fine-extremely fine. From the Soedermann Collection."

This type was struck 1832-58 in large numbers and this is a common date. In 1859, the silver was reduced to 0.750 fine and reduced again to 0.500 fine in 1867.

Recorded mintage: 3,180,000.

Specification: 2.07 g, 0.868 fine silver, .028 troy oz ASW, this specimen 2.02 g.
