This specimen was lot 32637 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $470. The catalog description[1] noted, "Elizabeth II Specimen 5 Cents 1955 SP66 PCGS. Lightly toned with significant cameo present. From The Eric Beckman Collection of Canadian Coins." Canadian five cent pieces were struck in nickel 1922-42 then converted to "tombac" (a variety of brass) for 1942-43, then in chrome plated steel 1944-45, then nickel for 1946-51, then chrome plated steel 1951-54 and back to nickel for 1955-82. This date is common.

Recorded mintage: 5,355,028.

Specification: 4.5 g, nickel, 21.2 mm diameter.
