This specimen was lot 2284 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,700 (about US$2,339 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Joseph I., 1705-1711. 1/4 Dukat 1707, Wien. GOLD. RR Kl. Knickspur, vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung Kommerzialrat Dr. Herbert Wenzel, Wien. Exemplar der Auktion Dorotheum Kunstabteilung 203, Wien, Juli 1957, Nr. 88. (Holy Roman Empire, Joseph I, 1705-11, quarter ducat of 1707, Vienna mint. Very rare, creased, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1707 only. The double "MM" mintmark is for engraver Matthias Mittermayer. It was accompanied by an eighth ducat (Fr-347).
