This specimen is lot 69 in Spink sale 9031 (London, November 2009). The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria, Graz, Joseph I (1705-11), Ducat, 1706, laureate, cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned arms, slight crease, nearly very fine, scarce." This ducat was issued at Graz 1706 only and is a scarce date. Other mints issuing ducats during the reign of Joesph I include Vienna (KM 1908), Brieg (KM 190), Breslau (KM 132), Augsburg (KM 135), Munich (KM 1186) and Saint Veit (KM 1669), not all of which were actually within the Hapsburg dominions.
