This specimen was lot 74846 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Middlesex. Political & Social Series. Copper 1/2 Penny Token, 1794. NGC MS-63 Brown. Edge: Plain. Touching upon the treason trials and Thomas Hardy, this Choice specimen displays inviting brown surfaces with some hints of red around the devices."
