This 25 piso was struck to mark the 25th anniversary of the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1974. It was hoarded and is common today. The currency was reformed in 1967 and all the World War era coinage struck in the USA was demonetized.

Recorded mintage: 90,000 plus 10,000 proofs.

Specification: 26.45 g, 0.900 fine silver, 38.3 mm diameter.
