This specimen was lot 621 in Jean Elsen sale 132 (Brussels, March 2017), where it sold for €95 (about US$120 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ITALIE, ETATS PONTIFICAUX, Innocent XII (1691-1700), (Antonio Pignatelli), AR teston, 1700, an 9, Rome. Année sainte. D/ Armoiries. R/ La Porte Sainte. Très Beau. (Italy, Pontifical State, Innocent XII (1691-1700), silver testone of 1700, year 9, Rome mint, Holy Year. Obverse: arms; reverse: the Holy Door. Very Fine.)"

This is one of twelve different testone for this ruler.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a somewhat scarce type.

Specification: 9.59 g, .917 fine silver, this specimen 9,00 g.

Catalog reference: Munt. 37; Berman 2243, KM 644 (shield and cloud on reverse are different from plate coin).
