This specimen was lot 34034 in Heritage sale 3098 (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $810. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italy: Papal States. Sede Vacante Testone (30 Baiocchi) MDCC (1700)-ROMA XF40 NGC, Rome mint. Holy Year, Dove Flying Up. A scarcer issue featuring the arms of Cardinal Giovanni Spinola and a radiant upward-flying dove. Lustrous in the recesses, with golden iridescent highlights and a small planchet flaw noted to the obverse." This is the scarcest of the five testone listed for 1700: KM 644 (Innocent XII), 645 (sede vacante), 646 (sede vacante), 647, 648 (Clement XI, Holy Year, different shield).
