This specimen was lot 25534 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $2,585. The catalog description[1] noted, "Peter I Sun Rouble 1724-СПБ, Bust right / Four crowned, cruciform Russian P's, with the date and radiant sun in the center, cross above head, cleaned about VF with lightly porous surfaces. and minor reverse flan flaws. A rare and very popular issue." This type was struck at St. Petersburg (shown here) and Moscow 1724-25. It varies from Dav-1660 in the arrangement of the emperor's toga and armor. The ruble was reduced to 25.85 g in 1733.
