This specimen was lot 1646 in Ponterio sale 173 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $1,116. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Poltina (1/2 Rouble), 1724/3. NGC VF-30. Peter I (The Great) (1699-1725)." This poltina, or half ruble, was struck 1723-25 and is scarce but not rare like previous issues. Another type (KM 160) exists for 1724.
