This specimen was lot 5081 in Goldberg sale 72 (Los Angeles, February 2013), where it sold for $391. The catalog description[1] noted, "Netherlands - Utrecht. Ducat, 1598. Standing knight. Reverse: Tablet with legend. NGC graded AU-50." This type was struck with little change until the fall of the republic in 1794.

Specification: 3.5 g, 0.986 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW.
