The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Spain|SPAIN]]. 2 Maravedis, 1845. Segovia Mint. Isabel II. NGC MS-66 Brown. One of the finest certified by NGC. Incredible mahogany brown color with some red underlying luster peeking through." This type was struck in Jubia, Segovia and Barcelona 1837-50 and was accompanied by copper one, four and eight maravedis. The type is not scarce.
