Zurich H3049-31577r.jpg

This specimen was lot 31577 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $646.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Zurich. City gold 1/2 Ducat 1736 MS62 NGC. The earlier type of 1712-16 has the same Friedberg number but has a distinctly different reverse.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 1.75 g, .979 fine gold, .055 troy oz AGW.

Catalog reference: KM 139, Fr-487a, HMZ-21162v.
