This specimen was lot 4505 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabruck, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,112 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"WÜRTTEMBERG, WÜRTTEMBERG, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH. Friedrich II. (I.), 1797-1806-1816. 20 Kreuzer 1805. Sehr selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Feine Patina, min. justiert, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, electorate of Wurttemberg, Frederick II, 1797-1816, twenty kreuzer of 1805, very rare in this condition, fine patina, minor adjustment marks, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
This type, along with a three, six and ten kreuzer, were struck in 1805 just prior to the duke's promotion to king.
Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
