Wurttemberg 1808-ILW 20 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 2172 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 150 CHF (about US$179 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Württemberg, 1803 Kurfürstentum, 1806 Königreich, Friedrich II (I.), 1797-1816 20 Kreuzer 1808. Vorzüglich-FDC. Leicht justiert. (Germany, kingdom of Württemberg, Frederick I, 1797-1816, twenty kreuzer of 1808. Extremely fine-uncirculated, Minor adjustment marks.)"
This type was struck 1807-10 and is rather expensive for a German minor. This type was accompanied by a three kreuzer (KM 500), six kreuzer (KM 495), ten kreuzer (KM 502) and a thaler (KM 504). The last twenty kreuzer was issued in 1823.
