The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Denmark]] - 1 Rigsdaler 1855-FF, Silver, FREDERIK VII 1848-1863 Head right. Rev. Value within wreath. Extremely fine." This denomination was introduced as part of the monetary reform of 1854. The coinage was reformed again in 1874 to a fully decimal system and this denomination was dropped.
