This specimen was lot 41619 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "[[Germany|GERMANY]]. Weimar Republic. 5 Mark, 1931-F. Stuttgart Mint. NGC MS-64. Oak Tree type." This type, issued 1927-33, was struck in large numbers in Berlin ("A"), Munich ("D"), Muldenhutten ("E"), Stuttgart ("F", shown here), Karlsruhe ("G") and Hamburg ("J"). It is, however, expensive; perhaps they were melted during World War Two. We have included it in our category of thalers based on its size, even tho it is only .500 fine.
