Schulman sale 347, lot 758

This specimen was lot 758 in Schulman sale 347 (Amsterdam, April 2015), where it sold for €8,000 (about US$10,297 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"dukaton of zilveren rijder. 1662. type IIb. gesoigneerde stempel. Ruiter naar rechts boven ongekroond klein stadswapentje MONETA· ARGENTEA· CIVITATIS· ZWOLLÆ ❀. Kz. gekroond generaliteitswapen, jaartal boven de kroon ·CONCORDIA – RES· PARVÆ – cReScVnt. RRRR. Prachtig. uit veiling Jean elsen 89, no. 131. het betreft hier een geschroefde proef met verzorgde stempels door c. adolphi"
