This specimen was lot 275 in Schulman auction 385 (Amsterdam, July 2025), where it sold for €280 (about US$396 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ZWOLLE. Dukaton of zilveren rijder, 1661, Silver Type IIa. Ruiter naar rechts boven ongekroond groter stadswapentje, het omschrift doorbrekend bloem MONETA. ARGENT - CIVITAT. ZWOL.. Kz. gekroond generaliteitswapen, jaartal boven de kroon .CONCORDIA - RES. PARVAE - CRESCVNT..R. Zeer fraai. (city of Zwolle, ducaton or silver rider of 1661, type IIa. This type was struck by Zwolle 1660-71, 1674-77, 1682, 1686. The municipal mints' habit of coining to short weight and short alloy infuriated the Estates General, which spent most of the seventeenth century on a campaign to close them all.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 32.78 g, 0.941 fine silver, .991 troy oz ASW.
