This specimen was lot 3093 in Sincona sale 64 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$376 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Basel | Stadt und Kanton, Batzen 1724, Basel. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast FDC. (city and canton of Basel, batzen of 1724, Basel mint. Very rare in this condition, About uncirculated.)"
This issue was accompnaied by a half batzen and three batzen of approximately equal rarity.
