This specimen was lot 7447 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Kingdom of Travancore. 2 Chuckrams, ND (1901). Rama Varma VI. PCGS MS-63. This pill sized issue, boasts very good details with a nice golden color over the surfaces, a nice representative of an uncommon Princely States issue." The obverse features a holy conch shell and the reverse features the king's monogram "RV". A later type (KM 50) has the denomination spelled "2 CHS." Both types are scarce.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: silver, 10 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM-44.
