The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "POMERANIA: AR doppel-schilling, 1670, PCGS graded MS62, ex Don Erickson Collection." This type, worth 1/16 thaler, was struck 1662, 1666-70 while Pomerania was under Swedish rule. Other double schillings (KM 273, 247.1) were struck in 1670. Prussia nibbled away at the Swedish holdings until seizing the remainder in 1815.
