This specimen was lot 2857 in Sincona sale 33 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 2,000 CHF (about US$2,374 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALIA, Lucca. Repubblica San Martino da 15 soldi 1742. 5.17 g. MIR 234/2. Spl/Fdc. (republic of Lucca, "San martino" of fifteen soldi of 1742, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
