This specimen was lot 5475 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabruck, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,183 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM, August der Jüngere, 1635-1666. 1/2 Reichstaler 1666, Zellerfeld, auf seinen Tod am 17. September. Vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 27, Osnabrück 1994, Nr. 2528. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, Augustus the Younger, 1635-66, half thaler of 1666, Zellerfeld mint, on his death on September 17. Extremely fine.)"
