This specimen was lot 554 in Schulman auction 379 (Amsterdam, June 2024), where it sold for €260 (about US$334 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ZWOLLE. Arendschelling. z.j. (+/- 1595), Silver Type Ia. Gekroond gecombineerd Spaans wapen, boven de kroon stadswapentje MONE. ARG. etc. Kz. dubbele adelaar onder een keizerskroon en titel RVDOL. II. NGC MS62. Prachtig +. (city of Zwolle, undated silver eagle shilling, circa 1595, type Ia. Obverse: crowned combined Spanish arms, city arms above; reverse: double headed eagle under an imperial crown and the emperor's title. Extremely fine or better.)"
Altho emperor Rudolf II is cited on the coin, Zwolle was part of the Netherlands, which by the end of the sixteenth century had secured de facto independence from Spain and the empire.
