This specimen was lot 4659 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$139 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, 10 Schilling 1716, Zürich. Vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, ten schilling of 1716, Zürich mint. Extremely Fine.)"
This type was struck 1707, 1712 and 1716 and has a moderate catalog value. Ten schilling was a quarter gulden or one-eighth of a thaler.
