This specimen was lot 78282 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. West Friesland. Ducat, 1792. West Friesland Mint. EXTREMELY FINE." This type was struck 1707-08, 1746-47, 1752-67, 1770-76, 1780-96. The SCWC divides this into subtypes with various mintmarks; this one, without mintmark but with a cabled edge, was struck 1780-94. For Westfriesland, silver ducats are scarcer than ducatons.
