This specimen was lot 2723 in Goldberg sale 100 (Los Angeles, September 2017), where it sold for $235. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italian States: Venice. ½ Scudo (70 Soldi), ND. Antonio Priuli, 1618-1623. Lion in shield. Reverse: Cross. About Very Fine." The coin does not bear a date but can be dated to 1618-20 by the mintmaster's initials ("GR", for Giacomo Renier). The type is known for 1618-22. The silver mezzo scudo had a face value of 70 soldi.
