This specimen was lot 72529 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Utrecht. Duit, 1786. NGC MS-66 Brown. Quite satiny and vibrant, this deep brown Gem glistens with radiance and features a lighter red nature enveloping the devices." This type was struck in Utrecht 1739-68, 1780-93 with an extensive series of presentation strikes in silver and gold.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a common date.

Specification: 2.84 g, copper, 21.5 mm diameter.
