This specimen was lot 2789 in Goldberg sale 103 (Los Angeles, February 2018), where it sold for $940. The catalog description[1] noted, "Turkey. 1000 Lira, 1978. Jalaladdin Rumi. Only 450 minted of this one year type. Tied for finest graded. NGC graded Proof 67." This issue was in honor of the medieval Persian poet.
