This specimen was lot 2539 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it sold for $705. The catalog description[1] noted, "Tunisia. 10 Dinars, ND (1967) NGC PF64 UC. For the 10th Anniversary of Republic. Grand Mosque at Kairouan. NGC graded Proof 64 Ultra Cameo." This rare issue was accompanied by gold two, five, twenty and forty dinars. Habib Bourgiba helped obtain independence for Tunisia from France and survived as its ruler until overthrown in 1987.
