This specimen is from a type issued by Tunisia in 1960, 1993-97, 2004-2011. It is one-hundredth of a dinar. The gap between the 1960 issue and the 1993 issue suggests that the regime ordered too many in 1960 and that 33 years were required to get them all into circulation.

Recorded mintage: unknown but very common.

Specification: 3.5 g, brass, 19 mm diameter.
