This specimen was lot 33864 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ticino. Canton 3 Soldi 1835 MS67 PCGS. An absolutely stunning example with a refined bluish steel patina on the obverse and a smoothly lustrous and gorgeous reverse." This type was struck 1813, 1835, 1838 and 1841; it is fairly common. In Ticino, 12 denari = one soldo; 20 soldi = one franco.
