This specimen was lot 6177 in Sincona sale 81 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 140 CHF (about US$168 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND | Tessin/Ticino, 6 Denari 1835. Versilbert oder Billon (?). Extremely fine-uncirculated." This type was struck 1814 and 1835. In Ticino, 12 denari = one soldo; 20 soldi = one franco, making this coin half a soldo or 1/40 franco.
