The first specimen was lot 4440 in Sincona sale 73 (Zürich, November 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Tessin/Ticino. 3 Soldi 1838, Bern. Fast FDC. (Switzerland, canton of Ticino, three soldi of 1838, Bern mint. About uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1813, 1835, 1838 and 1841; it is fairly common. In Ticino, 12 denari = one soldo; 20 soldi = one franco.
Recorded mintage: 514,000.
