This specimen was lot 73601 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $110. The catalog description[1] noted, "THAILAND. Salung (1/4 Baht), RS 125 (1906). PCGS MS-61 Gold Shield. A rather lustrous and vibrant Mint State example, offering a particularly charming golden-orange tone throughout the obverse." This type was struck RS 120-127. The date is shown as "๑๒๕" below the arms on the reverse. Rama V is the potentate starring (some say mocked) in the musical "The King and I."
