This specimen was lot 72990 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Santa Ana, CA, May 2017), where it sold for $188. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/4 Skilling, 1829. NGC MS-63 BN. Good strike with considerable mint luster and quite attractive." Prior to the reform of 1830, 48 skilling = one riksdaler. This is a common date of a type struck 1819-30. The denomination was terminated in 1833.
