This specimen was lot 1440 in Stephen Album sale 30 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2018), where it sold for $235. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN: Carl XIV Johan, 1818-1844, AR 1/3 riksdaler, 1829, KM-612, SM54a, initials CB, light obverse hairlines under attractive tone, EF-AU, Ex Dr. John Lund Collection." This type is noted for 1827-29 and is not common. It was the second largest denomination after the riksdaler and did not survive the reform of 1830.
