This specimen was lot 31782 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $282. The catalog description[1] noted, "Frederick I silver Ore 1731-GZ, MS63 NGC. Nicely toned and original with underlying mint luster. Scarce date and grade. Ex: 'Colonel' E.H.R. Green; Green Estate' Partnership of Eric P Newman/B.G. Johnson." This billon type was struck for Frederick I 1720-49 and is common. This date is scarce. One mark was eight öre and one riksdaler specie was twelve mark.
