This specimen was lot 72733 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $1,440. The catalog description[1] noted, "STRAITS SETTLEMENTS. 20 Cents, 1887. London Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-62. A softly lustrous coin with areas of moderate almond to russet toning. Overall a decent and presentable example of the type." This type was struck in 1871-1901 and many dates are common in low grade, like this one.
