This specimen was lot 35037 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "South Africa: George V Penny 1929 MS65 Brown PCGS. An elegant piece, with crisp devices, and beautiful mocha tone evenly dispersed throughout." The South African pennies of George V run 1923-36 with this subtype issued 1926-30. The 1929 is the most common date.
