This specimen was lot 1997 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"George V., 1910-1936 1 Pound 1929 SA. Pretoria. Vorzüglich. (Union of South Africa, 1910-60, George V, 1910-36, sovereign of 1929, Pretoria mint. Extremely fine.)"
The Pretoria mint operated as a branch of the Royal mint, striking George V sovereigns 1923-32.
Recorded mintage: 12,024,000, a very common date.
