This type was struck 1967-85 and is common. A few dates (1981-84) were struck in silver and sold to collectors. In 1985, the weight was reduced to 4.5 g. As of August 2019, US$1 = SGD $1.39.

Specification: 5.65 g, copper-nickel, 23.6 mm diameter.
