This specimen was lot 6254 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,098 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REICHSSILBERMÜNZEN, SCHAUMBURG-LIPPE, Georg, 1893-1911. 2 Mark 1898. Vorzüglich. (principality of Schaumburg-Lippe, George, 1893-1911, two mark of 1898, extremely fine.)"
All the reform coinage of this tiny state is scarce to rare. This type was also struck in 1904.
Recorded mintage: 5,000 plus 162 proofs.
Specification: 11.11 g, 0.900 fine silver, 28 mm diameter, reeded edge.
