Friedrich August III 'Mining' Taler 1787-IEC MS64 PCGS, Dresden mint. A popular mining Taler that admits few flaws to the scrupulous eye and remains highly desirable at this tier of Mint State preservation. Embellished throughout by a thick satin sheen as the result of a definitive strike, with every element of the design set to impress. Not only is the current offering the finest for the date among both certification services, it stands as the finest for this particular Davenport number, and is deserving of bids consistent with that fact.
