This specimen was lot 2813 in Goldberg sale 78 (Los Angeles, January 2014), where it sold for $541. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italian States - Sardinia. 20 Lire, 1829-P. Mint mark, eagle head. Carlo Felice. A few handling marks. NGC graded AU-50." This type was struck at Turin (shown here) and Genoa 1821-31. While not rare, it is scarce, particularly in nice condition. Mintmaster P is listed as more common for 1828 than mintmaster L.
