This specimen was lot 1873 in Goldberg sale 112 (Los Angeles, September 2019), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "San Marino. 2 Scudi, 1975. Crowned arms. Reverse: Value and date. NGC graded MS-67." This is the second issue of this denomination by this tiny state in modern times. It was accompanied by KM 49 (one scudo d'oro).
Recorded mintage: 80,000 but 3,373 melted at the mint.
Specification: 6 g, 0.917 fine gold, 0.1769 ounce AGW.
