"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Erzherzog Salzburg, Kurfürstentum. Ferdinand, 1803-1806. 20 Kreuzer 1804, Salzburg. The Archbishopric of Salzburg, an ecclesiatical state between Austria and Bavaria, was blessed with abundant silver mines. This type, issued in 1804 after Salzburg was secularized and handed over to an Austrian archduke, is somewhat scarce. A thaler from 1806 is the last issue from this locale.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
