Salzburg 1760 20 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 1550 in Sincona sale 76 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$364 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Salzburg, Erzbistum. Sigismund von Schrattenbach, 1753-1771. 20 Kreuzer 1760, Salzburg. Selten. Vorzüglich-FDC. NGC MS63. Prachtvolle Erhaltung mit herrlicher Patina. (archbishopric of Salzburg, Sigismund von Schrattenbach, 1753-1771, twenty kreuzer of 1760, Salzburg mint. Rare, Extremely fine-uncirculated, Beautiful condition with magnificent patina.)"
This type was struck 1757-64 and is scarce by comparison to the twenty kreuzer of Sigismund's successor, Hieronymus von Colleredo. The specimen shown in the SCWC is heavily worn.
