Stack's Bowers February 2024 Collector's Choice sale, lot 75577

This specimen was lot 75577 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $1,040. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Silver 100 Rubles (Kilo), 1997-MMA. Moscow Mint. PCGS PROOF-64 Deep Cameo. Swan Lake Ballet. An exceptionally enticing and impressive issue, this specimen radiates with an intense cameo nature, with just some minor friction in the fields." This NCLT followed a similar 1 kg silver issue honoring Sleeping Beauty (Y434) and the Nutcracker (Y495).

Recorded mintage: 1,000.
